Elastos Essentials to Integrate more Leading EVM Networks

In the shared objective to optimize user experience, the Essentials team and Elk Finance have joined forces to add support for a number of EVM networks that have come built-in to Elastos Essentials. The collaboration aims not only to attract new users from other EVM chains, but also to support existing Elastos community members that remain active across various Web3 ecosystems. Ultimately, the Web3 paradigm championed by Elastos will be a multi-chain universe founded on interoperability, and both the Essentials team and Elk Finance plan to lay down as many secure, low-friction bridges as possible.

Essentials Version 2.6.0: An Open Ecosystem

Together, the Essentials team and Elk Finance have already added support for the following four EVM networks, all of which are now available in the latest release of Essentials version 2.6.0:

  • Cronos
  • Gnosis
  • IoTeX
  • Fuse

In addition to augmenting the new EVM networks, Essentials version 2.6.0 is equipped with a number of exciting new features, including Ledger Nano X support, Elastos multi-signature wallets, and much more.

With the newly added EVMs included, Elastos Essentials now provides native support for a wide array of public blockchain mainnets, as well as most of their testnet equivalents for developers. Here’s the complete list:

  • Arbitrum One
  • Avalanche C-Chain
  • BNB Smart Chain (BSC)
  • Bitcoin
  • Cronos
  • Elastos
    • Main chain
    • Elastos Identity Chain (EID)
    • Elastos Smart Chain (ESC)
  • Ethereum
  • Fantom
  • Fuse
  • Fusion
  • Gnosis
  • HECO
  • IoTeX
  • Polygon
  • Telos EVM

Looking Ahead: Interoperability Beyond EVMs

For Elastos Essentials, the next step in the mission to achieve industry-leading interoperability is to integrate TRON’s network. Today, TRON is used by a number of high-profile CEXs (Centralized Exchanges) and other crypto platforms as an effective, low-cost USDT settlement layer. A significant number of Elastos community members have expressed demand for a user-friendly and cost-effective tool for USDT storage outside of CEXs. Those working on Elastos Essentials are focused on satisfying that user demand, and integrating TRON’s network is the best solution available based on present market dynamics.
